Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to join the world of entertainment. At the end of the day, after much thought and consideration she made the decision to quit university in order to work in the industry of entertainment. The actress was unhappy with her performance in the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To improve her acting skills, she trained very hard and appeared in numerous low-budget films to demonstrate her skills. The path to becoming an actor was not easy however she was successful thanks to her strength of character and determination. Her acting career took off after she received praise, fame and acknowledgement for her performance in Training Day. Her most famous films are 2 Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2.
